Message from the Therapist:
"Perhaps you're feeling like there is nothing more you can do. You may have tried over and over only to return to the same challenges, issues, or problems. These feelings of an endless cycle can be frustrating and even debilitating, feeling like you're stuck in a hole and there's no way back out. In those times when there feels like no hope, having someone there with you that you can trust may make all the difference. Most of us don't need a hero; we need someone who sees the best in us and can help us see that too.

I'm a firm believer in the innate potential and wisdom we each carry within ourselves. My focus as a therapist is a strengths-based one that aims to help you clarify what you'd like to see change and access your own resources to realize that vision. I tend to lean towards mindfulness-based approaches that combine talk therapy with more hands-on experiential therapy tools to help my clients express what they are feeling, what they want, and establish a way to reach their goals. The majority of my work has been helping teens and adults with substance use and compulsive behavior challenges, mood disorders, and trauma.

While it can be difficult to reach out for help, reading this shows that you're seriously considering doing so. I invite you to take the next step and reach out. I'd love to have the chance to talk with you and hear your story."
