Message from the Therapist:
"If you are anything like most of my clients, you have finally had enough. Enough of the problems in your life that are overwhelming, unmanageable, or completely and utterly unbearable. Enough with the way these problems are impacting your health, schooling, career, relationships, and overall quality of life. Maybe you’ve gotten to a point where you feel like circumstances prevent you from finding true happiness or that you don’t deserve the absolute best life has to offer. Perhaps you feel so lost and alone you find yourself thinking there’s no point in trying anymore because nothing ever changes for the better. Can you relate?

I’m here to tell you that things don’t have to stay this way. Life can be hard but suffering through it isn’t mandatory. In fact, life can be pretty darn incredible despite all the negativity and things that can go wrong. As human beings, we are unique from other animals due to our cognitive, reasoning, and planning abilities not to mention our language capacity. But like some mammals, we are social creatures. We have the ability to connect with others and I believe that’s a pretty good indicator that we aren’t meant to face our problems alone. I’M A FIRM BELIEVER IN THE POWER OF THERAPY. I don’t say that because it’s my go-to therapist phrase; I say it because I’ve been there. I say it because it’s how I genuinely feel and I base it on my own lived experiences, both personally and professionally. I utilize what I’ve learned from those experiences, along with my education, to walk alongside my clients on their journey towards wellness. I can’t fix you, but I can help empower you to address what you feel isn't working in your life. I won't tell you what to do, but I can offer guidance. Then together we will discover the strengths you already possess to improve your life.

I’ve had the privilege to work with people from all walks of life and of all ages (4 and up). The majority of my experience is in, but not limited to, the areas of mood disorders, women's issues, trauma, suicide, grief, and LGBTQ+. I believe in a non-judgmental, collaborative, person-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy. I embrace authenticity, acceptance, and imperfection (not to mention, lots of humor ;-).

So tell me, have YOU finally had enough? If you are ready to try this thing called “therapy” give me a call. I look forward to working with you."
